The Mammoet DAF XG 8x4 + 5-axle Nooteboom Manoovr + road plates is a heavy-transport combination from the Mammoet Road Cargo fleet. Fitted with a 12.9-litre heavy-duty diesel engine, this power unit delivers 530 PK to the dual-drive axles. The truck is designed to meet the most stringent energy and safety requirements. For example, it is fitted with numerous cameras providing all-round visibility.
Mammoet Road Cargo deploys this combination for both domestic and international heavy haulage solutions. With a special aluminium formwork behind the cab, a versatile Nooteboom Manoovr trailer and the optional ramps, the combination is extremely versatile in its applications. It is regularly used for the transport of maritime components such as thrusters, but also seen transporting excavators, aerial work platforms and other heavy loads.
This scale model has been reproduced down to the smallest detail by WSI Models and is available in a limited edition of just 500 units worldwide. The model comes complete with Mammoet packaging, a certificate, a specially made formwork behind the cab, road plates and chains to secure the road plates.
